Pastor Bill Wenig grew up in a minister’s home and has lived in Iowa most of his life. He values his great Christian heritage and was called into the ministry when he was young. In 1982 he graduated from North Central University in Minneapolis, MN, with a B.S. in Pastoral Studies. He has served in associate positions at Co. Bluffs and Burlington, IA. He has also served as Sr. pastor in Mt. Pleasant and Carroll, IA, before coming to Glad Tidings in the fall of 2008. He and his wife met at NCU and were married in 1983. Their son, Dan and his wife Rachael, live in Waukesha, WI, and he serves as associate pastor at Victory International Fellowship. Daughter Erica, is currently a student at NCU. Shari also grew up in a pastor’s home and enjoys many areas of ministry including education and music. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Buena Vista College. Pastor Bill believes Glad Tidings Assembly of God is an excellent place to grow in your walk with the Lord, understand His Word, and find healing and direction in your life! Both Pastor Bill and Shari feel privileged to lead the awesome group of people at Glad Tidings and be a part of what God is doing in central Iowa and around the world.

Dan Pattengill grew up in Marshfield, Wisconsin and later attended North Central University in Minneapolis. While attending North Central he met the love of his life, Lindsey. They got married on July 26th of 2008 and spent the following week in sunny Florida, visiting the Disney Parks. God has given both Dan and Lindsey a passion for children and families. They love seeing kids grow in their relationship with Christ and understanding of his word. There is nothing more amazing then seeing families grow together spiritually. They both love building relationships with people, reading, scrapbooking, picnics, playing and attending sporting activities.

Norm Wenig has served in the ministry for fifty years. His service to the Iowa Ministry Network has included serving as State Youth Director, Assistant Superintendent and currently as an Executive Presbyter with the portfolio of Pastoral Care. He and his wife Kathy are noted for their Marriage Enrichment Seminars. They love people and are passionate about winning the lost for Christ. Pastor Wenig has authored 7 books , two of which were co-authored with his wife. Together they have produced a Faith Building Scriptures CD. Pastor Norm is actively serving as Marriage Coach for Glad Tidings. Kathy is a Professional Life Coach, licensed minister and serves as Connection Coordinator for Glad Tidings.

“Billy grew up in a pastor’s family and is honored to have received the same call into ministry as his father and uncle. With original plans of becoming a middle/high school teacher, God radically changed Billy’s plans during his last semester of college at North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. It is at this same university where Billy met his bride, Hilary, who graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Both Billy and Hilary are passionate about people and seeing those around them, especially students, develop into leaders and authentic followers of Christ. They both enjoy many sports and outdoor activities as well as time with family, friends and getting to know others.”
