Pastor Bill & Shari Wenig

Pastor Bill Wenig has lived in Iowa most of his life and grew up in a minister’s home.  He is thankful for his great Christian heritage and was called to the ministry at a young age.  He is a graduate of Burlington High School and North Central University with a B.S. in Pastoral Studies.  Before coming to Glad Tidings Assembly in the fall of 2008 he served in 4 other Iowa A/G churches:  Council Bluffs, Burlington, Mt. Pleasant, and Carroll.  Hunting and basketball are some of his favorite past-times.

He and his wife Shari were married in 1983 and have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

 Their son Dan and wife Rachael and grandchildren Levi, Norah, Grace and Isaac.

Dan is a CrossFit trainer and is an Iron Man Participant in Brookfield, WI.  Their daughter Erica lives and works in Washington DC.

Shari is originally from South Dakota and grew up in a ministry family as well.  She has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Buena Vista College.  She is a Certified Minister with the Assemblies of God and enjoys teaching and also ministering on the worship team. 

 

The Wenigs love their church family and anticipate even greater things at

Pastor Razzy & Rochelle Ragusi

Pastor Razzy Ragusi graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 2008. He attended a number of different churches throughout his childhood, rededicating his life to Christ in 2009 while attending New Sharon Assembly of God. Razzy has served in youth and worship ministries in various roles since 2009, including the role of Youth Pastor at both New Sharon Assembly of God and Burlington First Assembly. He is a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God and desires to train and equip young people to better love Jesus, minister, and defend the gospel.

 

Rochelle grew up in New Sharon, Iowa. She attended New Sharon Assembly of God throughout her childhood and rededicated her life to Christ there in 2009. Rochelle is currently in the Teacher Education Program at William Penn University to earn her B.A. in Elementary Education. She is a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God and has a passion for teaching, writing, and discipleship. 

 

Razzy and Rochelle were married in 2009. They shared three children together (Daeja, Ellery, and Theodore) before welcoming in their fourth child (Lincoln) through foster care. After adopting their son, they maintained their foster/adopt license and are currently fostering two more children. In addition, they share a love for coffee, bike rides, and theological discussions. 

 

The Ragusi's are honored to be serving their church and carrying out kingdom work here at Glad Tidings Assembly!

Pastor Tanya & Reverend Matt Stuva
Children's Pastor

Pastor Tanya Stuva graduated from Indianola High School. She and her husband, Pastor
Matt, have been serving in ministry for 30 years. Most recently they pastored Hope
Assembly of God church in Colfax for 20 years.
Pastor Tanya is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God, receiving her credentials
through the Iowa School of Ministry in 2018. In Tanya's role as a pastor’s wife, she has
served in many areas of ministry including music, women’s ministry, nursery, and children’s
ministry.
She has also worked in the nursing field most of her career and spent several years in
pediatrics with special needs and medically fragile children.
They have three grown children and seven grandchildren. She has a calling to teach and
guide young children into a relationship with Jesus.
